The program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in the five divisions of Acrodance: flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. Developed with input from professionals and experts in ballet, modern dance, jazz, contortion, yoga and many more. Simple thoughtful progressions take the beginner preschool level dance from log rolls and summersaults to the advanced dancer tumbling effortlessly across the stage.
The TDS instructors are certified in the Acrobatic Arts for levels 1-6. We place students in classes based on ability and age. Proper acro training works from a progression. This progression reduces injuries and promotes concrete technique.
Every level of acro training involves work in the areas of flexibility, strength, balancing skills, limbering skills and tumbling skills.
Each acro class is designed to meet the needs of the individual student.
